My name is Genaro Romero, and I’m the owner of G&M Granite, a family-owned shop based in Fort Ashby, West Virginia. For us, this isn’t just a business, it’s a craft we care deeply about, and something we’ve built with hard work, pride, and a commitment to doing things the right way.

I’ve been working in the countertop industry for over 20 years, and like a lot of people in the trades, I started as a fabricator. I was the guy in the shop cutting slabs, polishing edges, double-checking layouts, and making sure every job came out just right. That hands-on work taught me early on that details matter, and that when you take real pride in your work, it shows.

When I started G&M Granite, I wanted to create a company where quality came first, people were treated with respect, and no one ever had to wonder if the job would be done right. Today, I still run the shop with my family, and we stay closely involved in every step of the process, from the moment you walk into the showroom to the final install in your home or job site.

We fabricate everything right here in Fort Ashby, and we work with homeowners, contractors, and builders across the region. Whether it’s a kitchen remodel, a bathroom upgrade, or a new build, we treat each project with the same level of care and attention.
